Local Walk Ambassador: Quinn
Hi my name is Quinn Harvey, I am 8 years old. When I was just 2 years old, I was diagnosed with autism. Some of the hardest parts about having autism are; I learn differently than other kids; I get overwhelmed in new places or when too much activity is going on around me, and I have a hard time expressing my emotions. Some of the great things about my autism are; that I can look at things in different ways; I am very energetic and have a great sense of humour!!
In my spare time I take horseback riding lessons; play hockey for the Guelph Giants and take dance lessons. I am a huge movie fan and get a real kick out of watching old Three Stooges episodes.
I am so excited to be chosen as the Walk Ambassador for this year's Guelph Autism Speaks Canada Walk! My family and I love spreading awareness for autism and encouraging family, friends and strangers to ask us about our journey.
Autism is my super power, what’s yours???
