Local Walk Ambassador: Brody
Broderick Bitangcol, referred to as "Brody" by all who know and love him, is 4 years old. He was recently diagnosed in April of 2016 with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) after struggles with speech and language, social communication and eye contact were apparent at a young age. You would never know he's only been speaking since he was close to 3 years old as he is more than happy to narrate your day for you as it goes along! He's truly become a chatterbox and silent moments for him are a thing of the distant past.
Brody has a deep love of all things vehicles but by far his favorite things to tell you all about are airplanes. He loves them all...biplanes, fighter jets, propeller planes. If it flies it’s a guarantee that Brody loves it and can tell you all about it! It's a real passion and he has no shortage of knowledge surrounding the subject.
Brody can always be seen with a smile on his face, laughing with his friends and family. His personality is warm, inviting and loving and he will never pass up a tickle. His giggle is contagious and when he looks into your eyes the world truly becomes a magical place. Those who have crossed paths with Brody have a very hard time forgetting the boy with the million dollar smile.
The Walk includes fun activities, performers and snacks, before and after the Walk. Arrive early to give yourself lots of time to visit and enjoy the event with your family and friends!
Upon arrival at your Walk, please proceed to Registration to submit your cash and cheque donations with your pledge form(s). Ensure that your pledge form is clearly labeled with your name and team name (if part of a team) to ensure that you and your team receive recognition for all donations collected.
