Kingston

Dear Family and Friends,

We are walking to raise funds for the mission of Autism Speaks Canada – to increase understanding, acceptance and inclusion of people with autism spectrum disorder, advance innovative research, and make connections to lifelong services and supports for the autism community.

Kingston was diagnosed with ASD before he was 3 years old.  It has been a struggle to understand what that means for his future.  As we come to terms with this new challenge, we believe that Kingston will succeed.  We will do anything to make this happen for him.   He is smart, kind and loves to laugh.  He is achieving his goals everyday.  We are so proud of him already.  We don't worry as much about his future, we are focussed on the things he can do already.

As we get to know the Austism community, it is very apparent that changes are needed in the classroom, in assistance  and with awareness.  Too many parents are left with unanswered questions.  Too many educators are left without guidance or help in the classroom.   We want awareness, we want to be acknowledged and we need understanding.

Please support us.   Make a donation and join my team and together, we can make improve the lives of everyone living with autism.
