It has been an eventful year for Jaden. At 22, this was his second year out of high school. He's in a wonderful program, at the Centre for Autism Services Alberta, called Quest for Independence, where he learns important life skills that will help him unlock his potential as an adult. Last month, he was a youth delegate at the Global Disability Summit in London, England, hosted by the British government and the International Disability Alliance.
Jaden continues to use his superpowers - his authenticity, passion, love and honesty - to help us all to rethink our definition of ‘normal’, changing our interactions with all of the people around us. He is excited to join his friends on the team from the Centre at this year’s Walk in support of the incredible work done by Autism Speaks Canada.
We'd love it if you'd make a contribution by clicking on the blue rectangular 'Donate to Jaden' button to the right.
And if you'd like to come out and walk with us, please send me (Jaden's dad, Mike) a quick note at firstname.lastname@example.org to let me know. Jaden would be SO happy to see you and give you a high five. Your support is much appreciated!
