Spring Nordic Festival Adventures for Autism



Autism Speaks Canada is excited to announce that Hardwood Ski and Bike is hosting a new fundraising event this March!

Open to everyone, this fun filled family day welcomes you to the beauty of a winter day in Central Ontario!

Individuals living with Autism Spectrum Disorder and their families are encouraged to come out for a few hours and take part in one of the many activities taking place Saturday, March 11th. This is a cross country ski and snow shoe event.

This is a great opportunity to fundraise for Autism Speaks Canada and we are pleased to be able to offer a winter activity!

The process to join is easy…
Once you are registered with Hardwood on their registration page and have paid your fees to participate ($25 Adult, $15 child) click the REGISTER TODAY TO FUNDRAISE highlighted link down below. You’ll be taken to a Autism Speaks Canada page where you can set yourself up and let friends and family know you are fundraising that day!

*For families with a child on the spectrum, Hardwood Ski & Bike are welcoming you to connect with them directly prior to the event should you have any concerns or questions. They are willing to accommodate any families that wish to come up in advance of the event to familiarize themselves with the grounds, the chalet, etc so that March 11th can be a smooth and easy transition for your child.

Hardwood Ski and Bike has over 40 km of beautiful, rolling trails through hardwood and pine forests for cross-country skiing. The trail network consists of 8 different loops ranging from 3 km to 22 km. There is a trail for every level of ability, from beginner to elite racer on terrain that ranges from gently rolling to challenging.

Join us March 11th, 2017 for a day of skijoring demos, games for the kids, prizes for top fundraising, BBQ, music and fun for the whole family!
